How we got here
We started fifteen years ago with a simple premise: Filipino professionals, properly supported and trained, could do exceptional administrative work for Australian small businesses.
Over time, we naturally gravitated toward allied health. That's where the demand was strongest, where the admin complexity ran deepest, and where getting it right mattered most. What began as a general capability became a genuine specialisation — and Clinic Admin was born to deliver it.
What we learned along the way shaped everything about how we operate today.
On the Philippines side: proper incorporation matters. Community roots matter. Paying well above market and creating genuine career paths matters. People do their best work when they're proud of where they work and supported by colleagues who've been doing this for years.

Ben Carter
Director, Workforce & Culture
Ben Carter has spent more than 20 years building and managing outsourcing operations between Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines. He founded Yoonet in 2010 as a small BPO operation in Bataan, Philippines, growing it to more than 130 team members serving businesses across Australia and New Zealand.
Clinic Admin grew out of a simple observation: allied health practices were hiring general virtual assistants and spending months training them in Cliniko, Medicare claiming, and Australian privacy law. Ben's team had already solved that problem. The Allied Admin Certification programme, a 58 hour pre employment curriculum built specifically for allied health administration, formalised what the team had been doing informally for years.
Ben splits his time between Dunedin, New Zealand and Bataan, Philippines.

Gavin Hodges
Director, Compliance & Commercial
Gavin Hodges grew up in a small business family and has spent his career in commercial operations, finance, and legal. Before Yoonet, Gavin was a Director at Newlands Group, a private equity and sophisticated investor organisation incorporating residential land development, civil and commercial construction. He led fundraising, commercial structuring, and legislative navigation across a sizeable property development and construction portfolio.
That background in regulated, multi stakeholder environments shaped the approach Gavin brought to Yoonet when he joined Ben in 2018. He runs the commercial and compliance side of the business: financial management across the Australian, New Zealand and Philippines entities, legal and compliance frameworks, internal processes, and the technology infrastructure that supports the offshore model. When Clinic Admin launched as a specialist brand, Gavin designed the data protection framework, service agreements, and commercial architecture that govern how offshore teams access Australian health information.
Gavin is based in Dunedin, New Zealand.
